Nearly 12,000 runners take over Austin's downtown in Capitol 10k

Despite early morning showers rumbling through Austin today, nearly 12,000 runners gathered at Congress Avenue and Riverside Avenue to tackle the 37th annual Statesman Capitol 10,000 , best known as the "Cap 10k " by locals.
