CrossFit athlete severs spine during competition: Injury leaves him paralyzed

A CrossFit athlete suffered a severed spine injury during a CrossFit competition in Southern California and may never be able to walk again, ABC News reported Jan. 16. Kevin Ogar, once a top-level CrossFit athlete, was performing a routine "snatch" at a competition in Costa Mesa, Calif., last weekend when he abruptly let go of the weight bar.
